Cristina Marrero Rodr\u00edguez naci\u00f3 y se cri\u00f3 en la isla de Puerto Rico y habla ingl\u00e9s y espa\u00f1ol con fluidez. Siempre le ha gustado ayudar a las personas y est\u00e1 especialmente emocionada de poder hacerlo en el campo de la inmigraci\u00f3n. \u00a1Su parte favorita de ejercer la abogac\u00eda es hacer conexiones con los clientes, encontrar soluciones para sus problemas y luego verlos obtener resultados que les cambiar\u00e1n la vida!<\/p>\n

Se gradu\u00f3 Magna Cum Laude de la Universidad de Puerto Rico en 2016 con un bachillerato en Sociolog\u00eda, \u00e9nfasis en Estudios Culturales y Criminolog\u00eda. Cristina tambi\u00e9n complet\u00f3 m\u00e1s tarde su Juris Doctor en 2019 y es admitida en el Colegio de Abogados de Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n

En el primer a\u00f1o de la facultad de derecho de Cristina, descubri\u00f3 su amor por la ley de inmigraci\u00f3n. Quer\u00eda brindarles a los inmigrantes las herramientas y la asistencia que necesitaban para vivir y trabajar legalmente en los Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n

Durante su tiempo en la facultad de derecho, particip\u00f3 en la Cl\u00ednica de Inmigraci\u00f3n y pro-bono “SOI” Servicios de Orientaci\u00f3n al Inmigrante. Ser voluntaria en la cl\u00ednica de leyes de inmigraci\u00f3n y “SOI” le dio la oportunidad de comprender que un gran abogado de inmigraci\u00f3n no solo debe tener conocimientos sobre las leyes sino tambi\u00e9n sobre las personas. Ser un abogado de inmigraci\u00f3n requiere mucho respeto, compasi\u00f3n y empat\u00eda por sus clientes.<\/p>\n

Antes de mudarse a Houston en 2022, Cristina trabaj\u00f3 como asistente legal para un bufete de abogados de litigios colectivos y agravios masivos en Puerto Rico. Su trabajo anterior en inmigraci\u00f3n le ha dado una comprensi\u00f3n profunda del proceso de inmigraci\u00f3n basado en la familia.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
