IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY PROFILE

Alma Jasmine Vasquez is an Immigration Attorney based in Dallas, Texas. As a first-generation Mexican-American, Alma was raised by immigrant parents and witnessed what that experience was like for them, giving her important perspectives that have formed how she approaches her work. Thanks to their efforts and sacrifices, Alma was able to accomplish her dreams of becoming an attorney.

Alma has always had a passion for working with impacted communities. She earned her Bachelors degree at Texas Woman’s University, where she studied social work. As a social work major, she completed several internships that allowed her to apply her degree to work with immigrant families and incarcerated individuals. These experiences provided her with a deeper understanding of their need for an advocate.

Alma earned her Juris Doctorate with a concentration in Trial and Appellate Advocacy from Suffolk University Law School. She was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association in 2023. While in law school, Alma interned at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office and the Office of the Federal Public Defender in North Texas. Alma also served as a Student Prosecutor for the Juvenile Unit at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.

Since graduating law school, Alma has dedicated her career to providing representation to immigrants in family, employment and removal defense immigration matters. She works to zealously represents clients and their families and provides them with compassion, knowledge and understanding, and effective legal solutions.
